The redemption link on the StackSocial page wasn't valid for me and I had to dig up the correct one. But the redemption is a rather easy process One thing that is not mentioned is that you cannot change to (or) add another plan to your Koofr account if it has a lifetime plan. There is only one upgrade to 2.5TB plan from this and you cannot have any more storage on Koofr with lifetime

Very good value for the price. Koofr has been around for years and proved itself. Can be used with their official apps or without. I just store a couple of additional backups there and don't ever have to worry about losing any important data.

I am in the process of de-Googling. I already moved my email to Fastmail. I changed my default search engine to Kagi. I am moving my photographs to Ente. Today, I took advantage of an ongoing sale at Stack Social to purchase a lifetime deal on 1 TB of cloud storage with the Slovenian company, Koofr For $120. I've been paying a monthly fee for cloud storage for more than 10 years and I'm delighted that is coming to an end. My de-Googling project is based more on my desire to preserve my privacy and protect myself from the US government, but I'm happy to save a few bucks while doing it. For anyone who wants to try out Koofr, they offer a 10GB account for free.

I wanted to buy a cloud storage with lifetime subscription. I ended up to Koofr. I think the price is competitive with other popular services like pcloud or icedrive. Internxt is also offering lifetime subscription but i tested it with free account and their speeds were not as good as Koofr but of course location certainly matters too. So far im really happy and i like Koofr a lot. Btw you can also add your Google, Dropbox and Onedrive accounts in the Koofr app, if you like!
